S. Carolina women finish perfect regular season

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Kamilla Cardoso had 18 points and 14 rebounds, Te-Hina Paopao scored 14 points and No. 1 South Carolina completed its second straight perfect regular season with a 76-68 victory over Tennessee on Sunday.

Cardoso and Paopao, both seniors, excelled on Senior Day as the Gamecocks (29-0, 16-0 Southeaste­rn Conference) won their 47th straight SEC regular-season game, their 57th straight at home and their sixth in a row over the Lady Vols (17-11, 10-6).

Rickea Jackson had a game-high 29 points for Tennessee.

UH 68, UCF 67

Shalexxus Aaron and Laila Blair scored 15 points apiece as the Cougars (14-15, 5-13 Big 12) edged the Knights on senior night at the Fertitta Center.

ALABAMA 78 TEXAS A&M 71

The host Aggies (18-11, 6-10 SEC) fell short on senior day at Reed Arena. Aicha Coulibaly led the Aggies with 19 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals. Janiah Barker added 15 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal.

NO. 9 LSU 77 KENTUCKY 56

Angel Reese had 22 points and 14 rebounds in what might have been her final regular-season game for the host Tigers (26-4, 13-3 SEC). Ajae Petty had 13 points and 15 rebounds for the Wildcats (11-19, 4-12).

NO. 17 NOTRE DAME 74 NO. 22 LOUISVILLE 58

Hannah Hidalgo scored 26 points, 18 in the second half, and the Fighting Irish (23-6, 13-5 Atlantic Coast) rallied past the Cardinals (23-8, 12-6) to wrap up the ACC regular season.

Sydney Taylor scored 11 points for Louisville.

NO. 21 BAYLOR 67 OKLAHOMA STATE 45

Aijha Blackwell scored 20 points and grabbed 18 rebounds, and the Bears (23-6, 12-6) topped the Cowgirls (14-15, 7-11). Hannah Gusters had 20 points for Oklahoma State.

NO. 3 TEXAS 71 BYU 46

Saturday, Madison Booker had 20 points and five assists and led a third-quarter surge for the host Longhorns (27-4, 14-4 Big 12). Lauren Gustin had 20 points and 15 rebounds for BYU (16-15, 6-12).

Men

NO. 3 UCONN 91 SETON HALL 61

Donovan Clingan scored 19 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead a balanced attack, and the host Huskies (26-3, 16-2) clinched their first outright Big East regular-season title in 25 years Sunday.

Freshman Stephon Castle tied a career high with 21 points, and Tristen Newton had 17 points and 10 assists for UConn. Dre Davis scored 20 points for the Pirates (18-11, 11-7).

WICHITA STATE 87 RICE 66

Saturday in Wichita, Kan., Travis Evee led the Owls (11-18, 5-11 American) with 18 points and four assists. Mekhi Mason and Keanu Dawes both scored 12 points. Colby Rogers had 25 points to lead the Shockers (13-17, 5-12).

BYU 87, TCU 75

Saturday, Emanuel Miller led the visiting Horned Frogs (19-10, 8-8) with 15 points. Jameer Nelson Jr. scored 14 and Trevian Tennyson 12. Fousseyni Traore scored 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting to lead the Cougars (21-8, 9-7).
