A healthy rivalry

Regarding “Let’s be clear: UT’s rival isn’t Texas A&M | Opinion,” (April 12): As a 1982 graduate of the University of Texas and a parent of daughters who graduated from Texas A&M in 2014 and UT in 2017, I believe this letter writer couldn’t be more wrong. His arrogance serves only to harm what has long been a mostly healthy rivalry. The competition in so many arenas has been helpful to both of these great schools.
