Unsilent Spring: Music and Our Changing Planet
Acclaimed trumpeter and composer Etienne Charles will debut “Earth Tones,” a new multimedia creation that employs sounds, stories, images and film and incorporates musical idioms from at-risk coastal communities at this Da Camera event today. On Saturday, DaCamera and the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University will present “Music for New Bodies,” created by director Peter Sellars and composer Matthew Aucoin. This musical premiere is an immersion in vast planetary processes and will be brought to life by five vocal soloists and an 18-instrument ensemble.

Green Mountain Energy Earth Day
