Do sleepwalkers feel pain?

-

According to a recent study, sleepwalkers don’t usually experience pain in their sleep and may not wake up even if they get injured. A study of 100 sleepwalkers with an average age of 30 showed that they were highly sensitive to pain when they were awake: They were 10 times more likely to suffer from migraines and were almost four times more likely to have headaches in general. But most reported feeling no pain during a sleepwalking injury. Though half of them had suffered an injury while sleepwalking, only 10 of them were awakened by the pain. The others had reported feeling pain later on in the night or the following morning.
