Norma Kirby Hacker Richards was born on January 24, 1938 and passed away on August 5, 2016 in La Quinta, CA from a fall in her home.

She was born and raised in El Centro, CA She graduated from CUHS. She met and married Danny Hacker. They lived in El Centro then moved to San Diego. Their son Jeffrey was born in El Centro where he spent much time with his grandparen­ts, E.H. and Eveelyn Kirby and was very close to them. She has a much loved grandson, Nicolas Hacker who lives in NO. Carolina.

Norma was a very successful business woman owning two businesses and working for several years traveling extensivel­y for her National Co. She has lived in San Diego, El Centro, Hawaii, Colorado and Palm Springs.

She was preceded in death by her father, E.H. Kirby; mother Evelyn, Kirby; three brothers, Tom, Roger and Stan.

Norma is survived by her son, Jefferey Hacker and wife Lilliana and her daughter Johana all of Escondidio, CA; brother, Jack Kirby and wife Marilyn of El Centro, CA; grandson, Nicolas Hacker of No. Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.

Norma left this earth to be with her friends and family and to rest in the arms of Jesus.

She had a great love of animals and her retired years were devoted to her animals.

Memorials may be sent to your favorite charity or “Mans Best Friend” animal shelter in El Cetnro, CA.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
