As Senior Community Representative for the 51st Congressional District for almost a decade, I was on the front lines fighting to improve delivery of government services to our working community by protecting and advocating for our natural resources such as water and power. I have served on the IVC Board of Trustees since 2013, where I collaborated and helped bring a 3 megawatt solar field that saves the college and taxpayers $8 million over the life of the project. I am the only candidate that has the ability to find other funding sources to address other issues the IID is facing around energy production and water conservation.
