 Three arrested in search warrant incident.

On Wednesday morning, detectives from the El Centro Police Department Investigat­ions Division served a search warrant, resulting in the arrest of three men for alleged felony offenses.

The warrant was as a result of an ongoing investigat­ion conducted by the division, stated ECPD Commander Aaron Reel.

At approximat­ely 9 a.m., three subjects were arrested within in the 500 block of Brighton Avenue. Holtville transient Julian Miranda, 39, and El Centro resident Carlos Hernandez, 33, were arrested for outstandin­g warrants and booked Wednesday afternoon at Imperial County Jail.

Miranda was held on no bond for an alleged felony bench warrant, stated county Sheriff’s Office arrest records. According to ECPD call logs, the warrant was for a probation violation related offense and corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant.

Hernandez was also held on no bond for an alleged felony bench warrant, stated county Sheriff’s Office arrest records.

According to the police department’s call logs, Hernandez’s local warrant was for a probation violation related offense and corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant.

El Centro resident David Cerna, 27, was arrested for charges related to the investigat­ion, confirmed Reel.

Cerna was booked into county jail for allegedly getting or obtaining credit with another person’s identity and held on a $10,000 bond for the alleged felony offense, stated the arrest records.
