Peace prize for Trump?

- DANIEL SANTILLAN Calexico

Should President Trump cut a good “deal” with North and South Korea that would end the existing state of war, convince the North to give up its nukes and lead to one united Korean peninsula, then surely he will be awarded the (with two leaf clusters) Nobel Peace Prize.

Ayy, hopefully we will not regret his decision to withdraw from the United States “agreement” with Iran and the moving of our embassy to Jerusalem.

Just like it was wrong for Trump to minimize Sen. John McCain’s service in Vietnam, it’s also wrong to minimize the president’s efforts in releasing three American in prison from North Korea. “What goes around comes around.”

Trump is anti-establishment. He bucks the system, and he runs against the wind. “He reminds me, of me. Now I know I hate him.” (“Tombstone”)

The bottom line is that Trump cut the taxes of the well to do, the rich, businesses and corporations.

So now they will grin as they tolerate his out-of-line comments, offences, exaggerations and lies.

Trump will continue to be Trump. So pending the Mueller (“Maller”) investigation, we can wait until the 2020 presidential election.

And should Trump be our president for eight years; then like Obama, he will not “destroy America.”

Legislation and judicial powers, will not allow it.
