Brawley swings past Point Loma in extras

SAN DIEGO — The Brawley Union High baseball team used a ninth-inning rally to defeat Point Loma, 3-0, in an extra-inning CIF-San Diego Section Div. II play-in game here on Tuesday afternoon.

With the win, the No. 8 Wildcats advance to the double-elimination portion of the tourney that will begin later today. The Wildcats will now travel to face No. 1 Mission Hills at 3:30 p.m. today.
