Wesley Charles Lambe was born on May 19, 1952, in San Diego, California on May 26, 2018 after a years-long illness. Together with his brother Gary and sister Darlene, he was raised in Brawley by parents Barbara and Donnie Lambe.

Wes graduated from Brawley Union High School in 1970 and from California Polytechni­c State University, Pomona in 1976. He launched a successful career as a pest control advisor first with Dotson and Sons and then joined the Gowan and Dune Companies in 1982 until his retirement in 2016. He spent his working years providing excellent service to his farming clients.

Wes was a member of the Brotherhoo­d of the Paternal Order of Elks, faithfully cheered on the San Diego Chargers and

San Diego Padres and shared the joys of tailgating with many. His wide circle of friends including the Uno Mas crew with whom he shared a love for the Baja 500 and 4 wheeling in the desert with friends.

Wes chose the younger sister of his friends Kolin and Mark Koon as his life partner and married Leslie Koon on January 14, 1978. They had a son Russell Andre Lambe in 1981. In 2012 Russell married his SDSU sweetheart Cheryl Raimondo and in 2015 they welcomed a beautiful daughter Sadie Andre Lambe, who was the apple of Wes’ eye.

Wes was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfathe­r, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be missed by many.

Wes was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Donnie Lambe, and by niece Chelsie Lambe.

Wes is survived by his wife, Leslie; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Cheryl; granddaugh­ter, Sadie; brother, Gary Lambe (Alicia); sister, Darleen Lambe Ballestero­s (Frank); in-laws, Robert and Eunice Koon; brothers-in-law, Kolin Koon (Pam), Mark Koon (Brenda), and Paul Koon (Susan); nieces, Nikki Domeno Braga (Rodney), Kristin Domeno Paladino, Jennifer (Niffer) Domeno, Tyler Koon (Charlotte), Krissy Koon (Kit), Morgan Koon (Julie), Lacey Koon Clevenger (Adam), Garrett Koon (Amber), Alissa Koon Coufal (Brett) and Dyani Koon Johnson (Nathaniel), along with aunts and uncles, cousins and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be held June 9, 2018 starting at 9 a.m. at Westmorlan­d Community Presbyteri­an Church in Westmorlan­d and continuing his Celebratio­n of Life at Stockmen’s Club in Brawley at 10 a.m.
