Coroner responds to report of shooting victims

A county deputy coroner responded at 6:20 p.m. Friday to an undisclosed residence in Brawley where Brawley police encountered two gunshot victims, the county Sheriff’s Office call logs stated.

A man and woman reportedly had sustained gunshot wounds to the head, the sheriff’s call logs stated. The woman reportedly was still alive at the time of the incident and an air ambulance was requested, the call logs stated.
