ELAINE S. PONTON

Aug. 9, 1928 - Jan. 30, 2019

Elaine S. Ponton, 90, was called to be with her Lord on January 30, 2019.

She resided in Holtville for 55 years. Her passions were her family, being a Missouri Synod Lutheran of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, and teaching fourth grade at Finley Elementary School in Holtville for over 32 years. The extensive decoration of her home for every holiday and shopping were pastimes Elaine immensely enjoyed.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family.

Service will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 548 Chestnut Ave., Holtville, on Monday, February 11, 2019, at 11 a.m.
