SHIRLEY I. RIFFLE JOSEPH Feb. 13, 1934 - Jan. 9, 2019

Shirley I. Riffle Joseph, 84, of Lima, Ohio and formerly of El Centro, CA., passed away peacefully at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in the Lima Convalescent Home.

She was born February 13, 1934 in Allentown, Ohio, a daughter of Howard and Lola (Risley) Riffle, who are deceased.

She is survived by her son, Patrick (Renee) Joseph of San Diego, CA; two grandchildren, Matthew and Tamara; a great grandchild, Killian; siblings, Neal (Linda) Riffle of Elida, Chuck (Ann) Riffle and Joyce Brown, both of Lima and Barb Smith of Richardson, TX; sisters-in-law, Loretta Riffle of Spencerville and Pam Riffle of Elida.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, William “Bill” Riffle, Paul Riffle and Marilyn (Maury) Zerkel and brother-in-law; Richard Smith.

Shirley worked as an administrative secretary with Imperial County, CA. She was a graduate of Shawnee High School.

Memorial services will be at 12 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019 in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with Pastor Neal Whitney officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Following the services there will be a luncheon at The Church in Allentown.

MARIA MAGDALENA VALENCIA July 22, 1943 - Feb. 3, 2019

Maria Magdalena Valencia, 75, of El Centro passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019.

She was born on June 22, 1943 in Esperanza, Sonora Mexico. She later married Arthur Valencia in Mexicali Mexico on July 25, 1963.

Maria was survived by her husband of 55 years, Arthur Valencia; sons, Edward Valencia, Guillermo Valencia,George Valencia, and Arthur Valencia JR of El Centro, CA.; daughter, Sylvia Valencia; brother, Tavo Pinzon; 9 grandchildren, great- grandchildren and nephews and nieces.

Visitation and Rosary will be held on Wednesda, February 20, 2019 at 6 p.m. at Hems Brothers in El Centro. Service will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 9 a.m. at St Marie’s Catholic Church.

DOMINA M. HUERTA Apr. 26, 1985 - Dec. 9, 2018

Domina Huerta, 33, of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on December 9, 2018.

She was born on April 26, 1985 in El Centro.

Domina is survived by her daughters, Briana (10 years old) and Violette (17 months); son, Leo (4 years old).

No services will be held.
