Nurse found dead in hospital

A nurse was found dead by a coworker Saturday morning at the Maternal Infant Hospital in eastern Mexicali, according to police reports.

Authorities said the victim was identified as Alicia Sandoval, 45.

The woman was located inside a restroom by a nurse after the victim went missing for a while.

Sandoval began working at 8 a.m. and her colleagues lost sight of the nurse for 40 minutes.

After locating the victim, doctors transferred Sandoval to the surgery room to keep her alive. However, they were unable to save her.
