Romo spent the first nine years of his 11-year Major League career with the San Francisco Giants, contributing to World Series titles for the club in 2010, ’12 and ’14. Romo has appeared in 27 postseason games in his career, all with the Giants. He has a 3-1 record, four saves, a 3.09 ERA, and a 0.90 WHIP in those outings. He was an All-Star in 2013.
Romo signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a free agent prior to the 2017 season and made 30 appearances before a July trade to Tampa Bay. He posted a 1.47 ERA in 25 outings for the Rays following the trade, including a 0.43 ERA (21.0/1) in his final 17 outings starting Aug. 12, the best mark in the Majors from that date until the end of the season (minimum 15.0 innings pitched).
