Man chases intruder out of home

A resident on West Ross Road reportedly chased a intruder out of his home Thursday morning, county Sheriff’s Office activity logs stated.

While the resident was upstairs in his home, he heard someone inside the residence. He went downstairs, where he found the intruder. He chased the subject until he got out of the house.

Intruder then fled in an unknown type of vehicle. The resident notified 911 about 1:26 a.m. Thursday and ICSO units arrived at the scene. ICSO did not respond to a request for comment as of press time Thursday.
