Hundreds of businesses closed during pandemic
More than 300 non-essential businesses have been closed during the last four months by the State Commission for Protection against Sanitary Risks, upon confirming incompliance with sanitary and safety protocols in Baja California.
These violations presumably led to an increase in COVID-19 cases.
State Secretary of Public Health Alonso Pérez Rico remarked that, on this issue, “There is no truce.”
The official said those who do not adhere to the measures will be closed.
