Hector R. A ceves our beloved husband, father and Tata p assed away peacefully at home on November 24, 2020. He was born on April 24, 1953 in Ocotlan J alisco, Mexico. He attended local schools and graduated from Brawley Union High School with the class of 1973. He also attended ITT Technical Institute in Phoenix were he was certified as a Diesel Mechanic. Hector married the love o f his life Elvia Guzman on January 19, 1974 and they had four children.

Hector work f or Jordan Central Implement for 26 years and Gibson And Schaefer for 13 years. He enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, watching football (Raiders) but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends which will greatly miss him. Hector was preceded in death by his parents Joaquin and Andrea, son Hector Jr, brother and sister in law Humberto and Rita, father in law Margarito Guzman, brother i n laws George and Alfred Guzman. Hector is survived by his wife of 46 years Elvia, daughter Claudia (James) Armstrong, sons Mark Anthony and Gabriel, grandchild­ren Jamie, James, Krista, Analyne, Mark, Braden and Elijah, great grandchild Madison, sisters Celia Guajardo, Imelda ( Francisco) V ega, brothers Alvaro ( Carol) and Jose Luis, mother in law Manuela Guzman, sister in laws S ylvia (Tom) Garcia, Elsa (Xavier) Santana,

Alma (Tony) P orras, Martha (Joe) Anaya, Letty (Rick) Goddard and Lucy Guzman as well as numerous n ieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at F rye Chapel on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 6 to 9 pm. Mass will be celebrated at 1 0 am on December 18, 2020 at

St. Margaret Mary Church in Brawley burial will immediatel­y follow at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley.
