Debra Susan Gonzales, age 55, passed away o n November 16, 2020 a fter a 2 month long battle with COVID- 19.

She was born on March 9, 1 965 in S anta Barbara, California to R alph and Alice Perez. She was the youngest of 9 siblings. She was married to her longtime friend and love John Ramirez Gonzales on August 29, 1998, who she’ll be reunited with up in heaven.

She leaves behind her 3 children Kathy Orozco, Armando Orozco and Alice Aranda. Along with 12 beautiful grand babies.

Debra was an amazing independen­t woman. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She especially l oved her role as a nana. She was a kind hearted, generous and loving person. She never hesitated to help people, even if it meant she’d be without. She was a woman of many attributes, but cooking was what she loved the most. Everyone that knew her would tell you she made the best food. In her younger years she loved to go out and dance. She was the life of the party and easily m ade friends with almost everyone she came in contact with.

For many y ears she worked at United Way as an accountant. She always s aid she loved her job because not only did she get to w ork with numbers, but she also got to help a lot of people. She was so giving she’d always bring work home, by helping people on her own time personally.

Debra Gonzales will be truly missed by all.

Family and friends are invited to a ttend a viewing held for her on December 11, 2020 from 6:30 to 9 p . m. at the Frye Chapel & Mortuary located at 7 99 So. Brawley Ave in Brawley, C A. For those who wish to p ay their respects.
