Robert Max Beach, 73, of B rawley, Ca p assed away on Friday, J anuary 1, 2 021. Robert always went by B ob or Bobby and was born on September 19, 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He married Sandy Beach on January 20, 1978 in El Centro, C A. R obert was a Decorated Vietnam W ar Veteran from 1 966 to 1969.

He h ad s everal jobs throughout his life. D&H Body Shop, Tuckers Auto Body, B&F, Dalbo Trucking, Coastal Transport, Flying J Trucking and Packers Mini Storage. He loved fishing, Stock Car Racing and Gambling...

Bob was a kind man who was very well known to be there to help a friend or family out and would give the shirt off his back if needed. Bob was a Be- loved husband, a Loving Father a nd a Best Friend. There is a Big Void in our hearts. We are going to miss you, Little Big Man.

He w as preceded in death by his father, Walter Max Beach; mother, Helen Shultz, b rother; Jim Beach and his Sister Cheryl Beach of San Diego.

He is survived by spouse Sandy Beach of Brawley; son, J effrey Beach of S an Antonio, TX; Daughter- in- law, lacy Beach San Antonio TX; sister i n- law Betty Beach; b rother, Max Beach; brother, John Parsons; sister, Denise Thompson; grandchild­ren Colton Beach, Payton Beach, A ston Baker; plus, numerous n ieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebratio­n of Life will be held at a l ater date. The family suggests donations b e made to Wounded Warriors Foundation on behalf of Robert Beach.

LUCINDA “LUCY” FLORES

Nov. 8, 1960 - Feb. 9, 2021

Lucy Flores, 60, passed away on February 9, 2021 in B rawley, CA a fter a vigorous battle with COVID- 19. She grew up in Calipatria, CA with her siblings, a ttending Calipatria High School. Lucy had 3 remarkable children, Angel “Tito”, A ngelica Rose and Andrew Araujo whom she loved and treasured. She also raised her 3 nieces, Rose Nuñez, Sandra Flores and Michelle Crooks. She always welcomed all of her family and friends with open arms.

Lucy was known for always smiling, laughing and saying something silly to make whomever she spoke to smile or laugh as well. You could always find her enjoying the company of one of her grandchild­ren; She loved them all dearly. Lucy was an admiration to all of us for always doing all she could to help her family in any way. She was always selfless to ensure everyone was taken care of. Lucy is going to be missed so very much by all who knew her.

Welcoming her into heaven will be her beloved son, Angel “Tito” Araujo, her father Manuel Flores, mother Rosemarie Martinez, her brothers Johnny “Chacho” Martinez and Carlos Carrillo Jr., sister Tomasa “Tammy” Flores, a long with her nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins. Lucy’s celebratio­n of life will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 12 p.m. t o 3 p.m. a t Frye Chapel and Mortuary, 799 Brawley Ave, B rawley, Ca 92227.

She is survived by her daughter, Angelica Rose Araujo, son, Andrew Araujo, grandchild­ren, A. Isaac Araujo, Destinee Molina, Alexa Fernandez,

Adrian Alvarado, Madelynn “Maddie” A lvarado, Jewel Lisa Araujo, Andriah A raujo, Jianney Araujo, and Josiah Araujo, sisters, C andelaria Paz Carrillo, Mercy Becerra, Carol Flores and Sylvia Becerra, brothers, Manuel F lores and Edgar Flores, 3 great- grandchild­ren and numerous nieces and nephews.

TAMMY DERRICK

Sept. 10, 1961 - Jan. 1, 2021

Tammy Derrick, 59 o f Imperial passed away on January 1, 2 021 after a long fight for several years.

Born in El Centro on September 10, 1961 to Correnne and Jerry Derrick. Tammy was raised in Plaster C ity and attended Westside school and Imperial High School, all of w hich she was extremely proud of.

Tammy was known for being loud, funny and never afraid to show her Tiger Pride. Despite her many illnesses and setbacks throughout life, she was active i n various clubs and organizati­ons throughout the Valley and had a passion for high school sports, especially Tiger Football and Basketball. She never knew a stranger and because of that we know that all her friends and family now have an extra guardian angel. Although she won’t be here for another kickoff or jumpstart we know she is looking down from heaven and can’t wait to shout, “Go Big Red”.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry; sister, Jeri Dian; stepson Kenny Phillips III and Grandma Bus.

She is survived by her son, Brian Phillips; mother, Correnne Derrick; boyfriend, Kenny Phillips; grandson, Kenneth Phillips III; siblings, Bennie (Rhonda) and Cindy (Darr); nephews, Derrick, Casey (Marlena), Steven, Chad (Maria); great- niece and nephew, Emma and Bradley as well as many many more friends and family.

Services will be held at Frye Chapel on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 10am.
