Randy Harris, 60, of Brawley passed away on January 3, 2 021 due to COVID- 19. Joanne Harris, 71, of B rawley p assed away on January 26, 2021 due to C OVID- 19. The couple were married for over 35 years.
Randy Harris worked as a supervisor for Hager Farms and Joanne Harris was a real estate agent for many years recently she had gotten her broker license and she was a notary.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, Glen Harris and sister, Donna Harris. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, David and Goldie Edelson and brother Roger Edelson.
Together Randy and Joanne are survived by there children, Lisa Jennings of B rawley, Travis Jennings of B rawley, Randy (Rocky) Harris of Brawley and Jeremy Harris Brawley; g randchildren, Venessa Miranda of Brawley, V incent Miranda o f Brawley, Jacob Jennings of B rawley, Jeremy Harris Jr. of B rawley a nd Yvette Harris of Brawley; great- grandchildren, Vincent Miranda III and Zian Miranda both of B rawley and the dog, Bella; h is mother, Ellen Pettit of Brawley; sister, Kathy Gore of Brawley; brother, Roy Harris of B rawley and sister, Christy Cruz of E l Centro; b rother, Bobby Pettit of B rawley and sister, T erry Harris of El Centro.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley and will be officiated by N orman and Stacie Chandler.
ENRIQUE O. PARGA Oct. 30, 1949 - Feb. 23, 2021
Enrique O. Parga, 71, of Brawley, CA passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
Enrique was born in Mexicali, B.C. He worked for many y ears as a machine operator at William Brandt Ranches and Tyler Co. He was a very caring, well- respected person and excellent husband, dad, a buelo a nd brother. He made friendships that would prove to last for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Olivia; daughter Veronica (Brian); sons Adrian (Erika) and Joe (Anita) and brother Raymundo (Carmen) and nine precious grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, M arch 25, 2021 at 1 0a.m. at F rye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley, CA.
The family suggest donations be made in memory of Enrique to R ady’s Children’s Hospital.
KENNETH BLANKENSHIP Mar. 13, 1963 - Feb. 15, 2021
Kenny passed away on February 15, 2021 in El Centro, California. Kenny attended school in both Brawley and Saratoga, CA and after graduating from a mechanics trade school in Arizona, Kenny came “home” to t he Valley.
Kenny lived his life the way he wanted life lived. He w as never short on friends, love or laughs. Kenny will always be remembered for his tricks, pranks and laughter. Kenny, you are loved and missed.
