Onions filched

A farming operation west of El Centro reported to the Sheriff ’s Office early Thursday morning the theft of five bales of onions valued at $4,000, dispatcher’s logs state. The onions were stolen from a field on East McCabe Road sometime between 3:30 p.m.

Tuesday and 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
