Fight injures one

One person was taken to Pioneers Memorial Hospital with an unspecified injury following a disturbance reported at 10:20 p.m. Thursday at the America’s Best Value Inn, 351 W. Main St., according to the Sheriff ’s Office.

There were multiple people involved and three were detained. One person was on the ground “unresponsive.”

Another person signed a complaint against another for battery but no one was booked into the county jail in connection with the incident.

The Sheriff ’s Office aided Westmorland and Brawley police with the incident.
