Man abducted, two arrested

Two men were arrested by Baja Calfornia police Tuesday evening after they allegedly abducted a man outside a seafood restaurant.

The state Department of Public Safety said the incident was reported at 6 p.m. outside restaurant “El Guaynos” in the Fraccionamiento Villa Bonita area.

Police arrived at the Carranza Boulevard eatery and were told by the victim’s wife that two armed individuals forced her husband to enter a gray Nissan Versa with California plates.

The suspects reportedly fled westbound with the victim.

Members of the victim’s family gave chase and police agents were able to locate and apprehend the suspects, identified as Mercedes and Roman.

The suspects were transported to the state Attorney General’s Office.
