No charges yet in Holtville robbery
No one has yet been charged in connection with the Jan. 3 robbery of the Sun Community Federal Credit Union in Holtville, William C. McNamara, a spokesperson for the FBI office here said Friday.
The thief entered the branch, made a verbal demand to a teller for money and fled on foot after receiving an undisclosed sum, authorities said.
The county Sheriff ’s Office responded to the incident and then turned the case over to the FBI.
The suspect was described as a Black man 35-40 years old, about 5-foot-8 with a thin build. He was said to be wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black boots, white-framed sunglasses with blue lenses and a camouflage neck gaiter over his face.
