As lead Auditor/Appraiser, conducted audits and valuations of multi-million-dollar public utilities. Proud 20+ years foster parent; served as treasurer of IV Foster Parents Association. Current commander of American Legion Post #138. Board member of TREES, a philanthropic organization. Former president of Kiwanis Early Risers. Member of various other organizations.
What issue will you focus on?
EFFICIENCY. Streamlining operations will get the money flowing to best benefit our county. First responders are underpaid/understaffed; bridges are collapsing, and roads are in disrepair. As geothermal and lithium industries create an influx of building permits and property tax appraisals, those areas must be adequately staffed and skills upgraded.
Why did you decide to seek election in your respective race?
To serve and benefit the people of Imperial County. I’m a foster parent who worked to improve children’s lives through leadership/fundraising for the Kiwanis Club. I’m a veteran of the U.S. Army who advocates for veterans though involvement in the American Legion. I walk the talk and get things done.
What is your strongest asset?
I draw strength from the foundation of my education, business management and public sector experience, and the analytical skills I’ve developed over decades of public service. It is from this foundation that I have been able to I get things done to benefit the people of my community.

Coming from a large family with hard-working parents who set the example, I know what it means to strive in order to succeed, Let’s fix what’s broken and work together to fulfill the needs and best interests of our community! With your vote I/we can get it done!
