T Believe Dieting!

-

Her days as a no-nonsense trainer on The Biggest Loser are over, but Jillian Michaels is still motivating millions. From DVDS to podcasts, the 42-year- old has plenty of outlets for her message, which is surprisingly straightforward when it comes to food. “It’s common sense — just don’t eat more than you burn in a day,” she says. “I don’t restrict calories or cut out carbs or anything.” When Jillian isn’t whipping the world into shape, she’s enjoying her home life with fiancée Heidi Rhoades, daughter Lukensia, 6, and son Phoenix, 4. Here, Jillian opens up to In Touch’s Valerie Nome about the stress of wedding planning, the difference between raising girls and boys, and her one guiltypleasure indulgence.

So you’re not a dieter? JM: Saying, “Don’t eat carbs or don’t eat protein or don’t eat this or that” — it’s bulls---. Just don’t overeat. I don’t care how healthy a food is, if you eat too much, you will store it as fat!

What do you typically eat in a day? JM: Today I had whole-grain toast and two eggs over easy for breakfast. For lunch, I’ll do a salad with a carb and protein. For a snack, I’ll have a fruit and Krave Jerky, and sushi for dinner.

Do you have a guilty pleasure? JM: Red wine! But I only do like two glasses a week.

“Sometimes I think I don’t look like myself,” acknowledges the reality star, who appears more fake than cute these days. While she credits makeup for the changes, Dr. Schulman blames fillers in her cheeks and lips. “Her lips are overinjected,” he says. “She looked better before.”
