When he's not quietly romancing Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx parties hard behind her back

When it comes to his ultra-private girlfriend, Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx is protective. Since he was first linked with the actress in 2013, the Oscar winner has gone to great lengths to avoid bringing their relationship into the spotlight. When they dine out, he leaves restaurants separately to avoid being photographed together (as he did after a night with her at NYC’S Carbone on May 1). And during a live February interview with ESPN, he simply removed his headset and walked out when a reporter asked about his relationship with Katie.
But behind closed doors, he’s far from respectful, a source tells In Touch. Jamie, 50, has a wild streak that was on full display during an alcohol-fueled night he spent without Katie, 39, at a West Hollywood hot spot on May 2. “He was out of his mind. He was so flirtatious,” says the source. “You wouldn’t think he had a girlfriend from the way he was acting. He was grabbing girls’ hands, pulling them up close to him and dancing with them. Jamie obviously pretends to be a nice guy when he’s with Katie, but she needs to watch out.”
While women twerked on him and people around him were seen using drugs, the source says Jamie — who hinted at drug use of his own in a 2015 interview on Snoop Dogg’s GGN News Network, admitting he did “extracurricular activities” at 3 a.m. at a party with Sean “Diddy” Combs — was downing vodka, “talking a million miles an hour,” says the source, and dancing so much “he was dripping in sweat.”
TOTAL OPPOSITES
That’s definitely not Katie’s scene. For the mom of 12-yearold daughter Suri (with exhusband Tom Cruise), parenting remains her No. 1 priority. “When I’m not on set, I’m being a mom. I’m doing mom stuff,” she recently said. “When I go to an event, I leave at 10 p.m.”
Some nights, that’s when Jamie is just getting started. Though he has two kids himself — Corinne, 24, and Annalise, 8 (see sidebar) — “Jamie wants to be young still,” says the source. He loves Katie and the stability she provides, but the “Blame It” singer “doesn’t want to sit at home. He’s not ready. He wants to live his life.”
And that’s not something he’s likely to give up for anyone — even Katie. “He’s a party boy at heart,” agrees an insider. “That’s never going to change” ◼
