SWIFT REINVENTION

Looks like Taylor Swift has reinvented herself — again!

Taylor Swift remixes her signature good-girl style

On her last dark, moody Reputation album, the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer declares the “old Taylor” is dead. With that, the 29-year-old pop star’s wardrobe quickly transformed from Anthropologie to Hot Topic — both on and off the stage. Her favorite vintage frocks and granny-inspired heels were soon replaced with lots of black clothing, baggy hoodies and combat boots. Dainty jewelry took a back seat to serpent rings, and even her signature bright-red lip would occasionally veer into burgundy territory. Now with her just-released single “ME!” comes happy, Easter egg hues and whimsical motifs! In the video, a snake — a mainstay through Reputation — bursts into dozens of fluttering, pastelcolored butterflies, clearly signifying Taylor has been reborn. The return of girlie frocks, sparkle and that “red lip, classic, thing that [we] like” almost makes this new vibe a reincarnation more than a reinvention. Nonetheless, it’s good to have you back, Taylor.
