Casey Anthony Confesses!

The Most Hated Mom in America is finally telling all about her 2-year-old daughter Caylee’s death

-

Only she knows what really happened. Following the mysterious disappearance of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, in June 2008, Casey Anthony spent the next six months lying to her parents and cops before the child’s skeletal remains were found in a central Florida swamp. And even though she was later found not guilty of murder, the true circumstances surrounding Caylee’s death remain a mystery. “There were a lot of theories presented at the trial and after,” says a source. “But Casey has never told the full story.”

Until now. “She’ll never escape her past — she’ll be known as the Most Hated Mom in America for the rest of her life, so the least she can do is take control of the narrative,” says the source. “Casey is planning to cooperate with a new documentary for a streaming service. She’s finally ready to confess everything about the events surrounding Caylee’s death.”

A MOUNTAIN OF LIES

Prior to the documentary, Casey had only given conflicting accounts. When Caylee’s grandmother Cindy first reported her missing, Casey, 36, claimed the little girl had been kidnapped by a nanny (who turned out not to exist). At the trial, Casey’s attorney argued that Caylee drowned in the family pool and that the young mom was “conditioned” to help her father, George, cover it up because of years of sexual abuse (which he has vehemently denied). But in a 2017 interview, Casey claimed not to remember anything about that day and admitted she lied. “I’m still not even certain what happened,” she said. “I can’t tell you one way or another.”

Around that same time, she joined Twitter. In a now-suspended account, Casey wrote about how she was thinking of “getting my story out there” and then responded to an In Touch editor via direct message. “Eventually people will be seeing more of me,” she wrote, teasing the idea of doing a reality show (see inset below). “I am not hiding from something I did not do.”

She has nothing to lose. “If she admits to killing Caylee, she can’t be retried for the same crime,” the source points out. And while Casey has said she’s “repulsed” by her parents reportedly getting paid to do interviews, “she’s not above it now because she needs the money. No one even knows for sure how Caylee actually died — the truth will undoubtedly be more horrific than anyone expected.” ◼

“Casey is already a complete pariah,” says a source. “She might as well cash in and share the truth about Caylee’s death.”
