PAVING THE WAY
For Stronger Giving & a Better Tomorrow
THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF positive buzz around the newest professional fundraiser on the block, and rightly so. Colossal Management is changing the face of fundraising by powering online competitions that benefit both charities and competitors. This unique and powerful alternative fundraising method allows charities to focus on the important work they do.
So how does it work? Colossal runs online competitions where a grand prize winner is chosen through multiple rounds of public voting. From ideation and strategy to technology, marketing, customer service and final fulfillment of prizes, Colossal handles it all. 100% of the donations raised during a Colossal competition goes directly to DTCare, a nationally registered 501(c)(3) charity, which then grants the funds minus fees and costs to a designated charity beneficiary. Colossal’s commitment to making a difference shines through initiatives like the Super Mom Competition, which ended up in a DTCare grant upwards of $2.6 million; Fab Over 40, which in 2022, was the catalyst for an $8.2 million donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation; and Favorite Chef, which recently closed with a $4.7 million grant to James Beard Foundation.
“One of the reasons our platform works is because each Colossal team member is dedicated to making a difference. We’ve got that whole ‘gonna change the world’ kind of vibe, and we cherish this passion for philanthropy. As we celebrate the accomplishments of Colossal, let us remember that the impact of our campaigns extends far beyond the funds raised. It serves as a reminder that acts of kindness, no matter how small, have the power to transform lives and shape a brighter future for generations to come,” says Colossal CEO Mary Hagen. “It’s incredible to see communities come together to support one another and put these causes into the spotlight they deserve.”
The impact that Colossal has made is staggering. Since its inception in 2022, raised donations total over $22 MILLION as current campaigns are quickly and significantly adding to this total. “The bar has been set, and we intend to raise it year after year,” says Hagen. Not only are Fab Over 40 and the 'reatest Baker returning with elevations including exclusive workshops and special guest appearances, but several new campaigns are set to run as well. As the world learns the colossal impact Colossal’s campaigns have and continue to make, celebrities and brands, from Tony Hawk to Jeff 'oldblum to Bryan Cranston’s and Aaron Paul’s mezcal label, Dos Hombres, are joining Colossal in their mission to pave the way for stronger giving and a better tomorrow.
