Techstars’ collegiate division, LaunchPad Lift, accelerates studentrun startups in partnership with the Blackstone Charitable Foundation. UT Austin grad Mandeep Patel worked with LaunchPad Lift to found ElecTrip, a car service that uses all-electric Tesla vehicles for trips between San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, and Austin. ElecTrip has completed 1,000-plus rides at $100 per hour.
