MARY STRANGE

-

April 16, 1936 - April 7, 2022

Mary Strange went home to the Lord on April 7, 2022 in Flagstaff, Az. Mary was born on April 16, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan. During her childhood, Mary spent two years in the Philippines as her father was in the U.S. Air Force. She graduated from Riverside Poly High School and spent most of her life in Riverside, CA where she worked for Security Pacific National Bank for 30 years and continued to be promoted until she reached the level of Vice President. After retiring from the bank, Mary worked at El Rivino Country Club for another 20 years, where she ran the front office.

Mary accepted Christ as her Savior after her stroke, Jan. 13, 2015. Her dependence on His loving care and constant presence sustained her through a long illness. We would like to thank her caregivers, Debbie and Teresa in California, for their help, love, and support during her last few years.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, brother, exhusband Dale, and her dear friends John Tuntland and Frank Oldfield. She is survived by her sons Jim (Andi) of Flagstaff, Az. and Tad (Eve) of Maryville, Tn., and two grandsons, Kyle and Collin.

Mary was a very classy and gracious person who will be missed by many. The following quote from Lord Mountbatten sounds exactly like something Mary would have said: “I can’t think of a more wonderful thanksgiving for the life I have had than that everyone should be jolly at my funeral.”

A private Celebration of Life luncheon will be held in Riverside, Ca.
