Roll Em Up Taquitos opens in Colton

-

Roll Em Up Taquitos’ third Inland Empire location — and fourth overall — has opened in Colton.

As you might surmise from the name, the chain specializes in taquitos with a variety of fillings, but also offers a selection of sides, including beans, rice, corn and tortilla chips.

The chain also offers dessert in the form of a churro doughnut, but they’re not yet available at the new location.

The Colton location — 1550 W. Valley Blvd., Suite 131 — joins locations in Chino Hills and Victorville. Hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.

The chain has dozens of locations planned, including several here in the Inland Empire. A Corona location is expected to open the first week of June.

New eats at Montclair Place

Montclair Place added two new eateries recently.

Potato Corner opened earlier this year on the upper level on the east side of the food hall, across from JC Penney.

Potato Corner is home to the “World’s Best

Flavored French Fries,” according to the chain’s tagline.

Unsurprisingly, the chain features a variety of fried potatoes, including curly fries, French fries and tater tots, along with baked potatoes and chicken tenders, wings and poppers.

Newly opened is Don Fuegos Chicken, also on the upper level, on the west side of the food hall.

The chain specializes in chicken sliders, tenders, fried pickles and French fries.

Customers can customize their chicken spice level from “dash of heat” to “fuego.”

The chain also has a location at 14875 Bear Valley Road, Hesperia, and is planning to open a Rancho Cucamonga location later this year.

Montclair Place is at 5060 N. Montclair Plaza Lane, Montclair.

Blood for burgers

The San Bernardino Farmer Boys location is giving away Big Cheese burgers from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday.

All it will cost is a pint of blood.

That location is hosting

a blood drive for LifeStream Blood Bank.

Guests who step into the bloodmobile and donate a pint of blood will receive a coupon for a free Big Cheese burger.

Donors also will receive a special edition Memorial Day T-shirt, while supplies last.

The San Bernardino

Farmer Boys is at 1766 W. Kendall Drive.

25 years of chicken fingers

Raising Cane’s is celebrating its 25th anniversary by donating $25 million to charity.

The chicken fingers chain is raising funds by selling limited-edition 25th birthday merchandise, including an $8.99 plush puppy, available online and

at local restaurants.

Online sales through Aug. 31 will benefit The Birthday Party Project, which has a mission to bring joy to children experiencing homelessness through the magic of a birthday celebration.

Local plush puppy sales through June 5 benefit local charities, including Children’s Hospital of Orange County Foundation Pet Therapy.

Denny’s AYCE breakfast

Denny’s endless breakfast deal has an end date.

It’s June 21, according to an Instagram post by the chain.

While the deal’s menu is limited to pancakes, cheesy scrambled eggs and hash browns, customers can receive unlimited orders of those items.

Cost is $8.99 and is available for dine-in only.
