Hangar 24

Hangar 24 Craft Brewing

will release the latest beer in its experimental series on Friday, Sept. 16.

The new brew, X5SUPR-OW, appears to be a more intense version of the brewery’s flagship Orange Wheat.

The brewery describes the beer’s appearance as “a bright straw gold color and opaque in clarity, with a fluffy white head.

And for taste, the brewery states that drinkers will “notice a bright orange flavor before you even finish your first sip, backed by a complex flavor profile reminiscent to a traditional German shandy in times of yore.”

Alcohol by volume is 6%.

The first beer in the series — X1-PL-ALE — won a gold medal at the U.S. Open Beer Championship.

Members of the brewery’s Flight Test Program receive early access to the series as well as a crowler of each beer, along with other perks.

Hangar 24 Craft Brewing is at 1710 Sessums Drive, Redlands.
