Antonia F. Guevara passed away peacefully at her home in Montclair, CA on Saturday morning, March 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Antonia was 92 years old born to Guadalupe Hernandez Fuentez and Joseph Gabriel Fuentez in Pomona, CA on March 14, 1932. Her husband Gilbert M. Guevara Sr. preceded her death on July 9, 2023. Her brother Joseph G. Fuentez Jr. preceded her death on August 8, 2022, they were two peas in a pod in life. She is survived by her five loving daughters and loving son, Evelyn Moore, Marie and Luis Penaloza, Monica Guevara, Louise and Jim Farr, Deanna Vasquez and Gilbert M. Guevara Jr. She was the Matriarch of our family always loving and caring for everyone, she enjoyed her 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She also embraced her many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and friends who enriched her life. Antonia was a perfectionist in everything she did, as a homemaker and in the work force. She completed a certificate program with Sawyer Business School before working at L.A. Teen Post in Pomona, which helped at risk teenagers. Her next challenge was working for Weight Watchers International becoming an office mgr. and using her organizational skills everywhere. She enjoyed interacting and encouraging members to stay with the program because it worked. And during the Pomona Fair the energizer bunny would earn extra Christmas money to spend on her large family. When her husband became ill, she retired from Weight Watchers to care for him.

Our mother, grandmother, auntie and friend will be forever missed but forever in our hearts. A special thank you to Dr. Behnam Ebrahimi and staff for their loving care and for helping her reach her wonderful 92nd birthday.
