Outfitmakers, lucky charms, and more of jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer’s favorite things
SKIN-CARE SECRET All my friends used to beg me for this divine body scrub my little sister Carson makes. Finally, she turned it into a real business so anyone can buy it. The C & the Moon Malibu Made Body Scrub, $64; candthemoon.com. Style Icon Growing up, I was in awe of the way my mom [Ellen Meyer, above with Jennifer, in 1977] threw on a perfect pair of Levi’s, a white T-shirt, and a Cartier watch. She looked clean and classic, never overdone. TRAVEL UNIFORM Juicy Couture makes the greatest cashmere sweatsuits to wear on flights. Juicy Couture pullover, $350; juicycouture.com.
WARDROBE STAPLE Easy floral dresses by Ulla Johnson fit my laid-back vibe. Ulla Johnson dress, $795; shopbop .com. Best Bud Sara Foster [the actress, above right, with Meyer] is my first call in the morning and my last call at night—she makes me laugh through it all!
Dream Dress This incredible Saint Laurent gown I wore to the opening of The Great Gatsby in Cannes is my favorite look of all time. I hope to give it to my daughter at some point.
HOMETOWN HANG I’m a Cali girl through and through, born and raised in the L.A. area. And Malibu, my childhood home, is a slice of heaven with amazing beaches and great food. MANI-PEDI COMBO I know it’s basic, but I love Essie’s Sugar Daddy, a great neutral with a hint of pink, for my fingers. I always do a dark red called Emblématique by Chanel on my toes. Essie Nail Lacquer, $9; essie.com. Chanel Le Vernis Longwear Nail Colour, $28; chanel.com.
LUCKY CHARMS I always wear jewelry that incorporates an R and O for my kids’ names, Ruby and Otis. Jennifer Meyer necklaces, $550 (far left) and $1,150; jennifer meyer.com.
OUTFIT-MAKER My Saint Laurent leather jacket is good with everything from jeans to a fancy dress, and it only gets softer with age. Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello jacket, $3,990; ysl.com.
MILESTONE MOMENT When Jennifer Aniston wore my designs in the The Break-up [above, in 2006], it was the first time I had seen my jewelry in a photo or video. It blew my mind.
