ROSALIE HUGHES

1927 – 2021

Rosalie Hughes age 93 went to be with Jesus on July 17, 2021. She passed at home with loving family surrounding her.

Rosalie was born to Frank and Evelyn Jordan in Los Angeles, California on November 24, 1927.

She had lived in Inyo County for 54 years and in Gardnerville, Nevada for the last three years with her son and family until she passed away.

While living in Inyo County she worked for Inyo Mono Bank, Inyo County Assessors office and Inyo County Sheriffs department until she retired in 1985.

She loved traveling, cruising and just enjoying God’s creation with her late husband Jess Hughes. She continued traveling with family and friends until a couple of years ago, and always loved spending time with her family and friends until the end.

She is survived by her son con corsey and his wife Penny, daughter Frances Owen and her husband Robert, her dear nephew Stephan Rogers and his wife Linda. 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by her parents, sister, husband and aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers include her nephew Stephan Rogers and his son Stephan Rogers II, grandson Robert Owen ll, great- grandsons Mark McPherson and Robert Owen lll, and friend Jamery Ray.

Rosary will be held on Thursday, August 5th at U p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Bishop.

Interment at East Line Street Cemetery on Friday, August Uth at 10 a.m.
