John Winston Churchill of SublimityK OregonK passed away on October 10K 2022 at the age of 92.

John was born in VenturaK California and lived for many years on the east slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California and Nevada. He was married for 72 years to Edyth (Edy) ChurchillK and they had three childrenK Sher Churchill (TaosK NM)K John L. Churchill (Sun ValleyK NV) and Leslie Whitaker (SalemK OR). John loved the outdoors and spent as much time as possible there. For almost the last 40 years John and Edyth lived in their wonderful home overlooking the Ankeny wildlife refugeK south of SalemK OR.
