Weekend happenings
A number of markets and crafts fair kept residents busy shopping, visiting and eating over the weekend. At top, members of the Big Pine Volunteer Fire Department served up a community breakfast on Sunday; middle, the Bishop United Methodist Women’s Annual Holiday Bazaar was on Saturday, with, from left, Margie Neer, Penny Kehus, Karen Griego, Valerie Higgs, Marti Holton, Dorothy Wilson, Roberta Cummings and Jim Varnam; and the Bishop Union High School marching band held a holiday market and craft fair as a fundraiser with Elias Downard, Alyssa Switzer, MJ Tzab, Will Twomey and band director Ryan Mills.
