Veterans Day in Big Pine

BIG PINE – The Big Pine American Legion Auxiliary Glacier Unit 457 will be hosting a community Veterans Day service at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the Big Pine Veterans Memorial on the corner of U.S. Highway 395 and 168. If you would like to help distribute flags on the headstones of veterans, meet at Crocker Cemetery, 600 West Crocker St., at 8:30 a.m. then onto Woodsman Cemetery.
