Pumpkin pie contest

BIG PINE – The Big Pine Civic Club will hold its annual pumpkin pie contest on starting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, in the Big Pine Town Hall before the regular Civic Club meeting. Come and enjoy local chefs battle it out for the title of best baker; first place $30; second place $15, third place $10. Items on the agenda for the Civic Club: annual Christmas Tree lighting, Citizen of the Year committee, discussion of a New Year’s Eve dance, nomination for 2023 Civic Club officers, presentation from Smoking Cessation and reports from Inyo County representatives.
