Event set for nov. 19

- Register Staff

Eastern Sierra Transit’s 16th annual Stuff-A-Bus food drive will be Saturday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Bishop Grocery Outlet, 1320 Nn. Main St.

In partnership with the Bishop Grocery Outlet and KIBS/KBOV, these donations will benefit the Salvation Army food pantry. Food donations help the Salvation Army fight hunger and food insecurity in the Eastern Sierra.

“We live in a community that is very generous-always helping each other out,” said Dawn Vidal, ESTA’s administration manager. “There is an increasing need as more and more folks will likely face financial difficulties this year, including those who have not needed support before.”

Those dropping off new or gently used coats and non-perishable foot items help to keep our community warm and fed this Christmas Season, she noted.

Donations can also be dropped off at the

Eastern Sierra Transit office at 565 Airport Road.
