Bishop FFA freshmen attend leadership conference
Statewide meeting gave opportunity for students to meet others
The Bishop Future Farmers are always busy working at the school farm with its 1,000 acres and numerous livestock animals, as well as putting on great community events such as the annual Pumpkin Patch and Haunted Swamp.
In October, the freshmen students got the opportunity to attend the Greenhand Leadership Conference.
In this conference students spent an actionpacked day that was a fun way to get to know themselves and meet new people from across the state.
They explored the new world of Agricultural Education (Ag Ed) and agriculture. Ag Ed and FFA is a home away from home for all and provides opportunities for leadership development, personal growth and career success.
These students are bound to be future leaders of the Bishop FFA program and our community.
