Bishop LINK students assist Salvation Army meet needs

LINK Crew leaders and Bishop Union High School students volunteere­d at the Salvation Army on

Nov. 17 and helped package more than 50 Thanksgivi­ng dinner boxes for local families.

The school’s LINK Crew leaders invited freshmen to help volunteer at this event to give back to the community and earn community service hours.

LINK Crew is a national student leadership program in which seniors and juniors bond with incoming freshmen by giving them advise and doing fun activities.

LINK Crew leaders are Karen Rivas and Jasmine Spratt.
