Inyo Register

Working together for the country

-

(In response to the two writers in The Inyo Register, dated Nov. 3.)

I am inclined to have a small amount of pity for the two writers in the Nov. 3 issue of The Inyo Register. To read of their political leanings, I can realize they are unable to see “the flowers for the trees.” The only option all Democrats have for their disgraceful President Joe Biden and his (?) leadership is to blame former President Donald Trump.

I am very sorry to hear of the terrible trouble Paul Polosi incurred and pray that his recovery swift and full. However, what is an adult male, illegal citizen from Canada, doing living in a sanctuary city? How protected he was, never to be arrested and deported back to his own country! Mr. Polosi should never have been so horribly attacked.

May I remind the above referenced writers of the following: Right at the beginning of President Biden’s sitting at the President’s desk in the Oval Office: No. 1. Opened the closed borders to all – even inviting them. No. 2. Closed the pipe line and drilling on public lands – taking away our energy independence. No. 3. Causing fentynal to be shipped by cartels through the open border and sold all over the United States, killing our young people and others addicted to drugs. Cartels are becoming extremely rich from the sale of fentynal and the charges to illegals to help them cross our borders. In addition, these humans (children and adults) have died an extremely horrible death by drowning during their crossings. No. 4 Calling for disbanding police. Terrible crime and destruction of our cities and towns. Shortage of baby foods and other foods necessary to our citizens along with the high cost of fuel. Ref: No. 2 Our president and his minions are now taking gasoline from our storage tanks and contacting leaders from other nations to provide us with same.

Ref. No. 4 Seeing certain Democratic politicians urging citizens to cause harm to Republican leaders, members of the Supreme Court. Unspeakable! It is time for citizens of this country to stand up and call these actions above to end. I find that all political groups are not perfect but those doing so much damage to this country in such a short period of time is reprehensible. Personally as a conservative and a Republican I would like very much to look at the “flowers” and see the trees in the background and see both working together for the good of this country and its citizens.
