Tintabulations returns to Bishop with holiday handbell concert ensemble to perform concert in Bishop dec. 11
What’s the best single word to describe the Christmas holidays?
Maybe cheery, charming, charitable, changeless, cherubic, cheeky, or childlike.
For something that always stays the same, it is described and experienced differently by all.
Tintabulations Handbell Ensemble continues its Winter Concert Series that is sometimes silly, sometimes sentimental, sometimes serious, and sometimes spooky with “An __ (adj.)__ Ad Lib Christmas.”
Tintabulations Handbell Ensemble is set to perform at 1 p.m. Dec. 11 at the First United Methodist Church, 205 N. Fowler, Bishop.
Reno’s own Tintabulations, also affectionately called “Tintab”, have been thrilling audiences since its inception in 1997. The group performs holiday songs, sacred and secular, jazzy and lyrical, harmonious and crunchy on numerous bells and chimes, too many to count, further enhanced by the addition of flute, violin, drum, cello, and bassoon.
The talented musicians who are Tintabulations promise to wrap audiences “in the (adj. here) of the season and make your holiday (vrb. here)!”
Concerts hosted by Tintab are free and suitable for all ages.
Donations are gratefully accepted.
