NIHD grateful for support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Northern Inyo Healthcare District would like to thank the following health care facilities, local businesses, and individuals for supporting our Breast Cancer Awareness efforts, including our annual Moonlight Mammogram program and Eastern Sierra Cancer Alliance’s Community Pink Day. This year, our Diagnostic imaging team and these contributions helped provide 56 busy women with after-hours mammograms. NIHD encourages all women and men to speak with their primary care physicians about annual cancer screenings and to remember that early detection helps save lives.

Finally, our deepest appreciation to the Northern Inyo Hospital Foundation and Executive Director Greg Bissonette for graciously funding the pink ribbons along the U.S. 395 Main streets.
