Betty Anziano, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,

aunt, sister, and friend passed away on January 17, 2023. Betty was born on February 28, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois to Ernest and Jessie (Zylstra) Danielson. The family moved to California where Betty graduated from Rosemead High School. She married Mike Anziano on February 14, 1953. They settled in South El Monte, California, and raised four children: Linda, Daniel, Cindy, and David. The family owned a small, industrial deburring business which Betty managed, and worked, as a skilled machinist alongside her husband. Betty loved animals and owned a dog kennel for many years. The family often spent time gardening, doing sports, 4H activities, motorcycle riding, camping, water skiing and fishing.

Betty moved to Bishop, CA in 2008 with her son, David. Since then, Betty spent time between family in the Los Angeles area and her home in Bishop, California. In Bishop, she joined the Northern Inyo Hospital Auxiliary. Betty spent many hours knitting scarves and mittens for the yearly boutique. She enjoyed the friendship of the Auxiliary women.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Mike, eldest daughter Linda Irvine, sister Margaret Petteruto and grandson Christopher Maddox. Betty is survived by sons David and Danny (Jan), and daughter Cindy Maddox (Andy). There are seven grandchildren Michelle (Mike) Kubiak, Annette (Bret) Hutchings, Michael (Bethany) Anziano, Sommer Anziano, Nick (Courtney) Anziano, Roger Maddox, Douglas Maddox and five great-grandchildren.

For those who knew and loved Betty, we grieve in the sadness of saying goodbye, but are comforted in the thought she is now at peace. Love you Grandma!
