TACKLE YOUR TO- DO LIST

- BY BRIANA DICKS

Evernote (Free, $7.99/month for Premium) Evernote is a user-friendly app that helps you focus on what matters most. It offers easy access to all your information and makes it simple to enter typed notes or scan handwritten ones. You can easily add all of your to-dos, photos, charts, audio files, and web pages in one single, organized location. Evernote syncs across multiple devices, is instantly searchable, and lets you share your notes with anyone you choose. While the Basic plan is free, you'll have to upgrade to Premium or Business for more storage, syncing, and sharing options. Kondo – Routine Manager ($2.99) Kondo is a creation for the busiest among us. It reminds you of the little things in life that you might be overlooking. To start, you select categories that are meaningful to you, and without imposing specific due dates, you have the flexibility to work on improvements whenever the opportunity arises. Some of the categories to choose from are body, mind, beauty, career, finance, food, parenting, partner, family, and friends.

Streamline Your Home Life

Family Organizer by Picniic (Free, $14.99/month) This app is a must-have for families and is a personal favorite of mine. With Family Organizer, you can add all family members including parents, kids, grandparents, and even caregivers, so that there are never miscommunications when it comes to coordinating errands or events. Premium features include a shared family calendar, a tracker to stay on top of special events, to-do lists for individuals or the family as a whole, shopping lists, a recipe and meal planner, and a family locator that can track via GPS and notify you when kids leave pre-selected places like school. Productive – Habit Tracker (Free, $3.99/month for Premium) If you struggle to keep personal goals, then this app is for you. Productive is more than just a to-do list, it's designed to help you form lifechanging habits. With Productive, you can choose a personal goal and track your progress toward it. Smart notifications remind you of what you are trying to achieve at the beginning of each day, so you don't fall off the bandwagon.

Stay on Top of Your Cleaning Routine

Tody – Smarter Cleaning ($6.99) Do you wish you were better at managing household chores? Tody is a smart to-do list that will help you stay motivated while refining your time and cleaning routines. Not only does it plan everything out for you, but it turns cleaning into a game! Multiple household members can connect to your plan and check in to claim credit for their actions. Tody also remembers the last time you did more obscure projects, so you know how long it's been between deep cleanings. Asana (Free, $9.99/month/user for Premium) Asana is our app of choice for tracking our editorial calendar. You can manage large-scale projects with ease, thanks to the ability to assign tasks to team members and set deadlines so you stay on course. The app is free to download and use with up to 15 coworkers. The sky's the limit with Asana, whether you are managing a business or your personal to-do list for the day.

Gamify Your Productivity Forest

($1.99) Forest uses fun motivation tactics to help you boost productivity when you're working or studying. To get started, you add an item to your to-do list, and by doing that you plant a seed. As time goes by, your seed will gradually grow into a tree if you work on your project. On the flip side, if you neglect your goal, your tree will slowly wither and die. It turns your to-do list not only into a game, but also helps reinforce a sense of reponsibility as you challenge yourself to tend your very own forest. Todoist (Free, $3/month for Premium) If you need a little push to get organized and stay on top of your tasks, then Todoist is our best recommendation. It helps you keep track of all your projects no matter the size while motivating you to complete the next step. One of the best parts is the quick-add feature— just say, “Get on conference call tomorrow at 8 a.m. #work,” and it will set a task for tomorrow in your work project. Between color-coding and delegating tasks in shared projects, there are endless options to help you feel accomplished.
